For 2021 it looks like we’ll be holidaying at home. Holiday accommodation that doesn’t look like something from a low budget horror film is either booked until 2022 or so expensive that it’s just not worth it.
I’m always happy to be at home. It’s where my books and yarn and glass and fabric are, so there’s always a choice of things I’m happy to be doing.
I do miss the sea though. So Bobbie and I have put together a bundle which guarantees your next project a beachy vibe even if you’re only going as far as the garden.
Bobbie has designed and embroidered the beach hut of her dreams. The rows of these in their bright colours are one of my favourite sights in Scarborough.
I’ve dyed up a colourway that says British seaside to me – there’s usually more than a hint of grey, and blues have a slightly steely tint.
This skein would make a lovely pair of socks or a small shawl.
To complete the bundle we’ve added a tin of stitch markers in colours inspired sky and pebbles on the beach.
When the bags were embroidered I realised that our watercolour mini skeins would go with them perfectly – so we’ve created some bundles with those as well.
You’ll find both bundles in the NEW section of the shop.
Where would you be if you could be anywhere you wanted?
