Thanks for all the love you’ve shown the free Super Simple Cowl Pattern. I’m thrilled that it’s worked as both a way of using up part of a skein and getting some quick gift knitting done.
For some knitters patterns where you can completely disengage your brain are perfect. They let you follow a complicated plot in some on screen drama without realising half way through that you don’t actually understand who half of these people are. Others need a little more distraction – and that’s where my latest free pattern might be just what you need.
Say hello to the Super Simple Ribbed Cowl.

Almost as easy as the Super Simple Cowl, this requires knitting and purling on every second round.

This cowl is knitted from one of our BFL silk and Moonbroch kits. You’ll need approximately 200 meters of a 4ply yarn and Moonbroch – and if you want to use up the partial skein of 4ply that’s been in your stash for a while this project would be perfect.

You’ll find the Moonbroch you need here – a single 25 gram skein is all that you need if you’re using your own 4ply.
