Fifty Times Round The Sun Stitch Markers
The Flower Power Fund raises money for Marie Curie.
So why fifty times round the sun? Sarah who set the whole thing up is 50 next year.
£5.00 from each tin of markers sold will be donated to The Flower Power Fund - Sarah has setting up a GoFundMe for this.
I'd love to sell 50 tins of these - and to keep it manageable I'll be listing them in batches of 10 - that means your markers will be ready to post immediately.
The six designs are designs are
golden sun with red, yellow and black points
unnamed planet with orange and purple
planet earth, covered in a swirl of clouds
pale blue sky with fine silver dots - these are made by melting silver wire onto the bead
moon on a midnight blue sky
deep dark galaxy with a swirl of cream and silver
The glass beads are made by me in our Harrogate studio and kiln annealed for strength. Each glass bead is individually made by hand so each will be unique.
Approximate bead sizes (widest and tallest)
sun, unnamed planet and planet earth are 12mm in diameter
pale blue sky, moon and deep dark galaxy are 8mm x 16mm
Stitch markers come in a little metal tin to keep them safe while they're not being used. This also helps ensure they travel safely through the post.
