February Stitch Markers

Glass stich markers are  fun way for me to play with glass - and in 2023 I'm aiming to make a new design for every week of the year.

You can buy individual markers or save on a set of all four designs.

The February designs are

a red heart on white because February is full of advertising about love (but love is for all year round)

a white outline heart, because the idea that taking a ring and pushing and pulling at it makes a heart amuses me.

blossom, pale pink on green because things are coming back to life and that's brilliant

a flower, because seeing early blossoms like snowdrops and hellebores makes me happy.

The glass beads are made in our Harrogate studio and kiln annealed for strength. Each glass bead is individually made by hand so each will be unique.

Approximate bead sizes (widest and tallest)

red heart :  9mm x 15mm

outline heart : 15mm x 13mm

blossom : 9mm x 15mm

flower : 9mm x 15mm

Stitch markers come in a little metal tin to keep them safe while they're not being used. This also helps ensure they travel safely through the post. If you order individual stitch markers each will come in it's own tin.

Stitch markers may take an extra day to dispatch, and all items in your order will ship together.

We offer two different fittings.

Stainless steel jump rings (10mm outer diameter, 8.8mm inner diameter) are ideal for slipping over a knitting pin.

Lever back catches (10.6mm by 8.8mm inner space) can be slipped over knitting pins or opened and fastened round individual stitches.

Suitable for needles up to 6mm.

Tin measures 50mm diameter and 18mm deep.
