Our felt bears contain a pouch of moth repellent, making them a great addition to your project bag, yarn stash or desk.

The bears are embroidered and made by us in our Yorkshire studio. They're stuffed with a mix of toy stuffing and fabric scraps, giving a lovely squashy feel. A pouch of moth repellent is added. The bear is finished by hand sewing the last seam.

Each bear is 115mm tall, 105mm wide at the widest point and 23mm deep.

Each bear contains  a sachet of lavender, rosemary and cedar wood chippings. We've chosen these for their well known moth repellent qualities and because the combined smell is more pleasant than just lavender. As well as being moth repellent these scents are soothing and calming. The size of the sachet is shown in one of the photos.

We'll be donating 50% of the purchase price of these bears to The Trussell Trust who are behind many of the UK foodbanks. They organised more than 2 million food parcels last year. It's hideous they're needed, but while they are we'd like to support them.

Bears are available in 12 colours - silver, charcoal, caramel, brown, red, orange, yellow, lime green, turquoise, blue, purple and pink

The felt used is 30% wool, 70% polyester. Bears are stuffed with a mix of polyester toy stuffing and fabric scraps (probably cotton as I've been shirt making). The pouches are made from scraps of fabric too, so the colour of these may vary over time (but they're hidden inside the bear so that shouldn't matter). We embroider using Madeira rayon thread. The labels bear The Unruly Stitch logo and name.

Please note that these bears are not toys and should not be given to small children.

The bears shown are to give you an idea of where the text will sit on the bear - but your bear will say whatever you'd like.
