Spun by John Arbon in Devon. The Exmoor Blueface and Zwartables fleece comes from UK flocks while the Corriedale is from the Falklands. All fleece is processed and spun in the UK.

  • Exmoor Blueface is a cross breed of Exmoor Horn and Bluefaced Leicester, giving a yarn which is both sturdy and soft.
  • Zwartables is a coloured fleece, adding a soft grey to the yarn.

We've called this yarn Be Reyt in tribute to our Yorkshire home - it's the classic response when things are going wrong and it's a way of saying it will turn out ok in the end. This is a yarn that will take anything you throw at it and come out smiling.

WHAT IS THIS YARN GOOD FOR?

This is a wonderfully woolly yarn which is perfect for socks, accessories and garments. It's great for colour work projects. It's a firmer yarn than our pure BFL yarns, yet still comfortable to wear next to your skin.

COLOUR NOTES

Semi solid bluebell colourway - blue with a hint of green. This tones well with blue, turquoise, green and teal, and contrasts with any of the warmer colours.

Hand dyed yarn varies between skeins and batches. Please ensure you buy enough yarn to complete your project and alternate between skeins for multi skein projects.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Care for this yarn by hand washing it with a mild detergent and drying flat.

The wools in this yarn have not been superwash treated so should not be machine washed unless you want to make felt. If you do decide you want to try machine washing this yarn please test a swatch in your machine before washing your finished work - machines and detergents vary and it's better to know this before throwing in something you've spent hours making. Handwashing is the best way to keep items looking good for as long as possible, Find out more about caring for hand dyed yarn.
