Happy Pride? Or not so happy huge corporations plastering flags on everything in an attempt to look like they care? Pride month has become a massive commercial opportunity, and I guess that calling it rainbow washing wouldn’t be too far off the mark.
Pride was a protest – and it still is. Spending more than a few seconds on social media will quickly remind you how much hate is out there and how far we have to go.
