So we're all staying home for a while longer.

With that in mind we've put together a kit to make holiday knitting (or crochet) as easy as possible, even if you're venturing no further than a sunny spot in the garden (that's our plan). So fingers crossed for some sun (or plenty of cool and shade if that's more your thing)

Start with a bundle of 12 minis skeins dyed in our Britsock base. These pastels  scream sunshine to me.  We've added a drawstring project bag embroidered with the sun. Finally there's a tin with 6 stitch markers in colours which reflect the sun and sky.

We've picked this yarn as it would work equally well for socks or a small shawl.

Bought individually the yarn, markers and bag would cost £44.40, and you can save £9.40 by buying them as a kit.

Our designs are embroidered by us onto bags made from 100% Fairtrade Certified and GOTS Organic Cotton.

Each bag is 300mm by 250mm / 12in x 10in and will comfortably hold a couple of skeins of yarn. The bags can be stored flat or rolled for storage. The bags fasten with a drawstring and are finished with a laser cut bamboo tag.

We embroider with Madeira viscose thread - their UK distributor is a few miles away. Our bags come from a Sheffield company who manufacture in India using organic Indian grown cotton.

Your bag can be machine washed at up to 30 degrees C

GOTS Organic cotton is grown without pesticides, herbicides and fertilisers. An organic cotton bag has been grown in the most environmentally friendly way possible. Our entire supply chain has to adhere to a stringent set of requirements from the harvesting of the cotton, to environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing through to our printing and operating processes.

This product is made from Fairtrade Certified Cotton and carries the Fairtrade Cotton Mark. For a cotton bag to carry the Fairtrade certification mark, the cotton farmers must meet Fairtrade Standards. From the growing and processing of the cotton to the manufacturing of the bag, all areas have to be compliant to meet the Fairtrade Standard for cotton.
