If you’ve shopped with us for years you might remember Goddess Points. You earned points every time you bought something, then once you got enough points you received a discount code. It was a lovely thing to be able to do, but it was a nightmare from an admin point of view. So as the business grew and got busier I retired Goddess Points for a while.

One of the reasons I was keen to move the website was to have the ability to offer Goddess Points again. This time there’s a nifty plugin which runs the rewards software and keeps track of points. Perhaps the best bit is that it’s easy for you to see how many points you’ve got.

So how does it work? It’s really simple – but just in case you’re feeling that technology is not your friend I’ve put together screen shots so you can see every step of the sign up process.

You start by creating an account (and that can also save your address so you can whizz through checkout and check back on previous orders). You’ll also login in when you come back – and the My account tab will always be in the menu at the top of the screen.

Signing up for an account earns you 250 Goddess Points. Simple.

There’s the option to receive 500 Goddess Points on your birthday – just fill in your birthday and that will happen automatically (and if you want to do this later you can update your details on the My account page too.

Once you’ve created an account you’ll see this screen – and the Goddess Points link is towards the bottom of the bullet point list. This screen lets you manage addresses, check orders, access any downloads, so it’s home to several useful links.

Clicking on the Goddess Points link takes you to the screen which shows you all the ways you can earn Goddess Points. You can also see the points you’ve earned and spent recently.

Spending points couldn’t be simpler. Just make sure you’ve signed into your account, then once you get to checkout you’ll see your Goddess Points total below the basket.

Choose how many points you want to use – or select Use Max Amount to use as many as possible. You can also save your points towards something if that’s what you’d prefer.

Goddess points are valid for a year, and you’ll get an email a month before they expire reminding you that time is running out to use them.

So that’s it. Goddess Points are back and better than ever.
